i. Playing Sheridan in the midfield albeit as a tagger which is what he was recruited as.
ii. Not playing Ibbo as a tall checking backman where he is always undersized, but at what he does best-the interceptor. Admittedly their small forward line helped, but surely there's a message there.
iii. Playing De Boer in the midfield where his tackling is badly needed, instead of the defensive half forward role that has cruelled his career, Barlow's and nearly Crowley's. After all that's what we recruited him for.
