GWS are unique - they have designated smoking zones inside their stadium, one for tobacco and the other for everything else. The everything else zone is the biggest, the entire western side of Spotless.

North will honour their vets by naming demountables at Arden Street.

Brad Scott is being realistic about Norfs chances in the finals, when they're likely to be playing their one and only game at GWS, meaning the 4 has-beens will have this one last chance to play in front of home fans this weekend and be given a proper send off by the faithful few. Seems to me this is a kinder, better way to handle a difficult situation than announcing the list changes sometime in October and expecting these blokes to just slip away quietly through the side door.

You may be right Hypen but I think if he plays on it will be at a Victorian club in flag contention ie Hawks or Cats. I doubt a 38 year old with a young family will move to to the western suburbs of Sydney to play 1 season. We'll see.

It didn't hurt Geelong ditching Stokes, Kelly and Stagey last year, in fact the opposite.

Who do you you think Brad got his advice from?

Why GWS Hypen? It seems the preferred destination for the old boys but only because its one of only two destinations (North being the other one) over the past few years. North only have themselves to blame for this little pickle.

The GWS young kids have grown up and they don't need a Harvey in my opinion. Nobody does. Retire gracefully and let us never hear of him again (it appears the media offensive is in full swing - Harvey taking the high moral ground which would be unfamiliar territory for the little weasel).
