Let's not disregard the club's (GWS) rights in all of this. If all GWS and the Suns are is a finishing school for othe clubs - and, let's face it, that overwhelmingly means the "Big Melbourne Clubs" then the whole exercise has been a charade that, taken to its logical extreme, could continue until Hell freezes over.
Personally, I hope Cam gets his life together and gives The Giants a real crack. Very happy to see him back here in four or five years if he wants to come home then.

Little bit generous theire Zorro,GWS particularly continue to accumulate top ten picks like they are going out of fashion. They were willing to give up Treloar and Adams because they got more first round picks. Last time I looked they would be in our top 5-8 players, and that's probably being generous to couple of our blokes.
They also have their Acadamy and have had salary cap concessions.
They are willing to trade because there is no way they can keep that level of talent on the list under the salary cap, so keep the very best trade in another young jet who can impact early on low salary.
If you look at GWS over the next 5 years we are going to have to be very careful about what our targets are on our rebuild. If they don't stuff up they have the makings of a genuine super power.
If we had been given anywhere near the concessions these two teams have had, I dare say we may have a premiership or two by now
