It is not Maynes fault he is asked to play as a tall. List manager Brad Lloyd whose total incompetance has led to this situation.
Mayne is a worthy player in a normal team that actually recruits tall forwards.
He would be a gun in most sides.

I fully expect Mayne to kick 40 goals next year for the Roos, playing 15 games at ediehat with the roof closed will be great for his confidence, coupled with the fact they have Waite, Brown and Peitre/Daw in the forward line, along with Thomas who also plays a leading forward, he'll attract the 4-5th best defender.

Of course in 8 months time we will be saying we miss Chris Mayne. Which doesn't mean he is any good.

I think our list is the worst in the competition in terms of balance, age profile and key position coverage.

Its 2001 plus Nat Fyfe and Michael Walters.
