This could be quite a serious issue for the club. That is a lot of money to lose. Its pretty unlucky timing. If we'd been down for a few years and were finally coming good, and the mining boom was still in full swing, it would probably work. But right now, they may be lucky to get 20,000 full memberships.
<sarc>Still, we shouldn't worry too much, all that re-branding work won't be in vain. It will have cemented the loyalty of the die hard fans, and we'll all make the sacrifices necessary to watch our beloved team. <\sarc>
