I keep and eye out to watch him as he'd impressed me previously with the limited number of games he's played.
I thought he looked confident and calm kicked and marked well. There was a muddle with Silvagni when they both went for a loose ball and Kennedy slipped away.
How about Tucker and Langdon ?

In no way do I blame these 3 young prospects for our dismal fadeout but I was very underwhelmed by their efforts this week in particular. I know it is all about getting experience into these youngsters including Weller and Blakeley but it is still painful watching them learn while we get blitzed by an Eagles team that I truly don't rate at all. I guess the alternative is playing Muz, De Boer, Clancy and Suban but thats taking us no where we havent been before. Oh the frustration!

Pretty excited to see Harley Balic back into full training. He reckons he plays like Scott Pendlebury. I like to see a bit of confidence in these young fellas. I'm a Tucker fan, great 1st year, he will be a gun. Ed Langdon is really coming on, always seems to find space.

Yeah they show promise but the mistakes are common (which dont seem to be reflected in the published stats) and when you play so many learning on the job the show falls away somewhat more than the Roly game plan can tolerate. One of them made three turnovers before he actually had an effective kick. But you get that.

Agree with the sentiments here. I really like Tucker. Langdon shapes to be a handy second-tier player. Hughes is the wildcard for mine. Looks to have great physical tools, and attacks the ball well. Has shown some questionable decision making at times. Hopefully that's just youthful exuberance, because if he can put it all together he looks like a find.
