Actually I'm not sure why I 'you beauted' you comment rogerrocks, we were awful but yes I was thinking when I started watching the Sydney Port game that perhaps a little bit of it might have been that Sydney were so good.

How good was it to see Melbourne beat the Hawks (and the umpys) #freekickhawthorn.

Sydney travelled to play us last week, and still thrashed Port this week. Have a look at how most east coast teams go the week after they play here. Yes, we were awful, but not that awful.

And it was great that Melbourne beat the Hawks. Managed to completely outplay the slime a couple of weeks ago, but lose, then fall over the line against GC, and now a comfortable win over the Hawks. Shame they aren't in the finals.

Edit: Melbourne actually could still make finals.
