Well I am officially off the Roly band wagon.

This is singularly the worst decision in our clubs history since it's inception. Yes I know there have been a lot of them...

I cannot believe there isn't room in the team for someone of this man's talent, football nous & leadership.

Just dumbfounded that after discussions with the club he would feel so on the outer that he has to come up with plans B, C & D.

If we can't offer him a one year contract that will just about be it for me. My head will explode.

Does the disagreement with Roly mentioned go deeper? Now he sees himself on the outer and knows what it's like not to be one of Roly's favoured ones so he looks at other options?

Here's a guy who's really put his body on the line for the club and we can't repay the faith especially considering the way he took on new roles and was back amongst our best.

Meanwhile front running hacks who wouldn't know what it's like to put their head over the ball keep on getting a game and new contracts.

I would have thought if you were dinkum about putting Fyfe down fwd you keep Barlow at stoppages.

Don't disagree Hypen but surely this is just the club keeping its options open. GWS might decide they need some midfield grunt and offer up one of their first round draft pick KPPs who is stuck in their magoos. Or the Hawks see B Hill for Mick as a fair swap?

Unless there's a great trade on offer involving Barlow I reckon he'll be at Freo for the next 2 years.

There have to be consequences to this sort of season and no one else seems prepared to put their hand up, so I assume it will land on Michael Barlow. Morgan will be along soon to explain why the club are right and it's all Barlow's fault. Also, injuries and confidence. Mostly Barlow though.

Nowhere in that article does it say that Barlow will not be offered a contract by Freo. The usual drawing of long bows by the wests "staff reporters". Haven't even got the guts to put a name to the byline. Or its a mishmash of 5 different interviews done at different stages of the season welded together with birdshit welding to throw up some derby smokescreen. Ch eagle must be worried.
