Apparently RL wouldn't use Hendrix as the lone ruckman again after today but I thought he was quite good. He won the ruck battle although our mids weren't able to capitalise and he provided plenty of options around the ground (taking 8 marks to go with his 37 hit outs).

Obviously Sandi comes back in next week but it was quite a promising return for him.

Perhaps he only said that as he knows Sandi is due back so Zac will go back to being second ruck.
I do wonder if he is better playing on a wing or forward flank (as I think he did so more with Harvey coaching didn't he?) more than a full forward when not in the ruck.
He did do quite well today though and seems to play better when he is the sole ruckman.

Spot on Chewy. And I lost count of the number of times he had a chance to influence a marking contest with a spoil or just getting his 203cm frame in the way but didn't do so. His spoiling attempts are like being whacked with a feather duster.

The thing I noticed about Hendrix was that they kicked it to him. A mark of good teams is that they share the load, so it was great to see them kicking to him. They really need to do that more.
