This decision sucks, standards need to be applied consistently across the whole playing group. This is the reason I have not had an issue with the clubs delisting of Simpson. Certain favourites are tolerated repeatedly turning the ball over and making the same mistakes while others are penalised.
Mzungu ad DeBoer have regularly been dropped and Brady Grey not played with this as the justification, while players such as Sheridan and Pearce remain untouchable. I am not necessarily saying that Mzungu or DeBoer should be in the team but the excuse of tidying up skills sounds like BS to me. All 3 of these players offer more endeavour and effort than Sheridan in my opinion.
Blakely is one of the shining lights for the season and looks like a slap in the face to me.
