Tabs thought that as May had been stretching his Guernsey all day to give it a more comfortable fit, he would return the favour. Unfortunately the clown with the whistle didn't appreciate the effort from Tabs. Pity he didn't see a few other things that happened in that exchange and earlier in the game.

Its clear to me that Langdon and Weller are superior decision makers and elite kickers/disposers of the ball than Sheridan and Sutfcliffe and just as fast and should come in to the team next year at their expense. Now that their disposal numbers are starting to come up to match Sutcliffe and Sheridan there is no reason I can see to keep them in the starting 22, once we get our players back.
In the same vein, once AA Johnno and APeace come back in, Collins should seriously be considered to take the Fists spot.

Really disappointing day especially the poor umpiring but if you want an idea of how bad we were today cast your eye over the stats especially the kicks. I know stats are not everything but there are six players with less than 4 kicks for a full game of footy. Many are in our following division and one is our centre half forward. Seriously I know we have injuries but most of these culprits are our senior players and yet they could not find enough energy to rack up more than four kicks against the GCS!!!

So many senior players playing without confidence this season.

Many of then have shown they have talent in the past - not super stars, but Mayne and Clarke especially have shown they can play, and are not impacting the game at all.

Poor coaching I reckon - the message isn't getting in, or the playing resources aren't being applied properly.

Drubbing, if you've got a player that has played well in seasons past, and is well off that now, only a few things can be true:
* Player can't be bothered - delist / trade?
* Player is injured - why are they playing?
* Play is trying hard, but is playing without confidence, and having no impact - coaching?

What else? If they've played well with other great players around them in the past, surely we'd see a flash of something at some stage? A lot of our second tier senior players shave shown nothing this year.

Coaching I reckon.
