This guy can seriously play, the big question after a couple of games is going to be why he was not drafted by us earlier. Every bit as talented as Son Son with more size and a really hard edge to the way he plays. Whoever plays on him on Saturday had best have their running shoes on and be prepared for a nasty surprise.

The good thing is if he's not fit enough, they might anchor him to the attacking 50 and maximise his goal kicking over his defensive game. Not a bad way to start.

I get the feeling that he's one of those players that would get better the bigger the occasion, but obviously very early days and it's all yet to be seen.

Ive been waiting for this all season. Just what we need.
No, he is probably not fit enough just yet, hardly played any footy this year but he will get fitter every match he plays and if we can squeeze 5 games or so into him this year, he will become a regular star in our forward line next year.

Oh the joy to see Walters to Bennell to Yarran, put down your glasses, GOAL, next year.

I noticed that he won the WAFL top goalscorer last year. Didn't Ballas achieved the same feat prior to getting drafted. Not sure how old he is, but I would imagine his window of opportunity isn't a big one. Is this the sign that we could see Chris Mayne play his last year in the purple. IMO I hope not.

Seems to be high expectations about Yarran. Hope people aren't to disappointed if he doesn't dominate straight up particularly in this line up.
Ballantyne also won a Sandover.
I hope he plays well and offers some class to our forward line, but am concerned about his ability to impact over 4 quarters.
Great to see a player overcome obstacles to get to the highest level, and I love watching our indigenous players a real bonus to being a Fremantle supporter.
