What a great bloke, he's our champ (without a doubt). Sure, let him kip out on the couch this weekend - let's all give him a big whoop-up when we play Sydney.

To that row in front of me at Subi: rain or shine, you'd better front up for the Sydney game you knobbers.

Read the book. He was gorn in '15. We got another season for old times sake. He won't be back next year.

So get to the Sydney game. If you don't get a lump in your throat, you're just not human.

Has either WA based AFL team had a greater player in their history? The other mob would point to Judd, Jackovich or Pt Matera. But none of them got close to 350 for their WA side.

Its Pavlich. The greatest WA footballer in AFL history.

Had a bad omen about it this morning...for the first time saw the Pav's autobiography on the discount table at the bookshop.

Its the end of an era, the Big Pav era.
Remember the total team defense he captained to obliterate Sydney in the home 2013 pre lim final? remember his chase back into the defensive 50 and punch at the Cattery in the 2013 qualifying final. I ponder was it our best win of all time?
I am now dragged back to the 4AM Docker Focker, the MCG in 2013 GF and watching us not kick straight. The missed opportunity.
Only when he's gone and we're trying to stomach the Gen Y/MIllennials talk will we all realise what this bloke brought to the table.
Now I ponder how long the journey back. We won't see his like again. Fyfey you got big shoes to fill.

And he's good at sticking up for a mate and wanting what most of us believe is the right thing.

I am not ready for pav to do the final lap around subi. I know he is finished, he was cooked last year, but can you imagine the pav not being a part of the team. This bloke has stood by our club that at sometimes have been rank ordinary on and off the ground. Shirley the club has a role for him next year

True. You do run a danger of people stealing your concrete ornaments in Cockburn.

It wouldn't matter, though. A fisherman would have paid fifty grand to have his name put on it. You'd just keep the mold and resell the naming rights.

I'm just sad that the club's order for 40,000 big noses didn't get to China in time.
