Victor George Kailis Oval is the name of the new oval at Cockburn. Good on them for kicking in some cash to build the shed but it would have been nice to name the oval after a footballer. It's the first opportunity the club's really had to name something after one of their own.

Right, we'll start out with a bit of breakfast in the Dale Alcock Homes Elite Sports Kitchen, head down to the West Australian Channel Seven News Group Elite Sports Media Room for a review session of last week, then it's off to the Derby Club Sports Lecture Room, because we're contractually obliged to go in there now instead of having a talk on the ground, a few laps of the Oasis Pool, Spa and Landscaping Elite Aquatic track (once the kids have finished their swimming lessons) and then we'll hit the Victor George Kailis Oval for a bit of a run and finish it all off with a warm down in the McWarmdown Centre.
