I saw Freo and Pies at the 'G a few years ago on a Friday night. Got tickets through the club and ended up in a good spot on the wing.
I was expecting Collingwood fans to be at their feral worst but they were just passionately cheering for their side like we do.
After the game (which they won), I saw a group of them outside the ground singing their song surrounding a bloke in a gold jacket.
So I barged right into the middle of them in my Freo gear to shake Joffa's hand, expecting some aggro / condescending response.
"Thanks mate, go Pies," he said.
Since that game I've never felt as much animosity towards them as I had previously.
Mind you if we'd won, it may have been a different story.
