Yes Heather, and the photo others used was as he first started to walk off, before the spontaneous standing ovation began. I'm sure they could have found a photo with the crowd all or almost all standing. They manage to get photos and videos on the rare occasions when some idiot makes a fool of himself at Freo games.
Watching on TV over here, I thought it was a good touch when the crowd started applauding, then the coverage showed 1 fella rising to applaud. It brought a lump to my throat when the whole crowd rose as Crowls made his way to the boundary. What Walters did as Crowls passed him seemed to me to be the essence of Freo, once you are Freo you are Freo forever no matter what happens. Good onya Mikey you little rippa.
