I recall a wc player saying something about amphetamine having the opposite effect to enhancing performance ...or words to that effect, implying that using these types of drugs would not enhance performance but hinder it. Well, amphetamines was widely used in the tour de France in the fifties and sixties and of course by pilots and other military personnel during and after world war two. It is well known that the wiz keeps you alert, gives a feeling of invincibility, improving endurance, staving off fatigue, increasing speed in movement, etc. Understandably meth is an advancement on the original...but to explain its effects as anti-performance is really just ridiculous.
