It was quite shocking at the time and I remember Dale Lewis being crucified by the media and the footy community in general. Forget the umpires - Dale Lewis really was the whistle blower and what a courageous thing to do when at the time the attitude was just to keep quiet about such things. If only he had been listened to earlier instead of being ridiculed.

The IOC look like banning a number of Russian athletes following WADA's re-testing of samples from the 2008 Olympics using advanced testing technology developed in recent years. Pity the AFL doesn't have the guts to use this same technology to re-test the samples from the 2006 Grand Final.
