Sheridan was outside run that didn't really impact much. Crozier created plenty down back with some incisive movement and disposal and cut off a lot of attacks with his superior overhead marking. It's fantastic to see him excelling down back and showing off the skills that got him drafted highly.

30 according to finalsiren at the moment and I'm not knocking Sheridan on his game tongiht. I don't think he did much with most of his touches and don't think he had to defend at all which made life very easy for him but he did find the footy (or get handed it often). What he's been doing in every other game this season and his performance under more pressure is a bigger indicator of how he plays and his potential in my opinion.

I reckon that's just a bit of bloody mindedness from you Bizkit. I wouldn't mind seeing a ball by ball rundown for Sheridan for the past few weeks, I reckon it might surprise a few about how clean and decisive he's been.

Well he's averaged 12 touches a game over the previous month so it'd be a small number of effective disposals to go through. I'd wager the vast majority of those were worthless touches switching across defence and few were winning the footy and getting it into a damaging position.

Start with last week. I noticed against the Saints he was precise by foot and made some great decisions. That has followed through to this week it looked. Remembering he is still relatively early into his career. But those sort of games he's played can be pretty contagious in a good way.

Credit where credit's due, Sheridan was decent tonight. First game I have ever thought that. He actually did something with it, for the first half at least. And Crozier clearly belongs at half back. Credit to Lyon on that one because I would never have picked it... Collins should have been playing from round 1 so no credit for anyone there. We all knew it.
