In the lead up to the game I wondered what sort of reception Crowls would get when he ran onto the oval, gained a possession etc. Let's not kid ourselves, we have idiots just like every other club so I was anticipating a few boos tonight. There was no question that when the opportunity arose tonight that I would show my support for Creepy. He was a niggling, get under your skin type of player (much like Josh Carr) and you just loved the way he went about his business. So when the old number 15 ran out tonight as number 51 and there wasn't a boo to be heard - just clapping and cheers, it spoke volumes about the regard in which Freo fans hold this player. I was disgusted when Creepy wasn't given a lifeline by the club after he had done his time. If he never gets to pull on the purple (red, white and green for us rusted on types) jumper again, I hope his association with the club continues once his playing days are over. Best of luck mate!
