There must be less painful ways to get a good pick in the draft. But if Head Office doesn't give a hoot about winning/losing/game attendance maybe this whole 'dying by the week' thing can be a nourishing experience (a philosophy that RoLy keeps spruiking at his pressers). You got to wonder if he can keep going this year - he's been made a fool of (for sure).
Look at Tabs - he was pretty good last game, did some really good things. Then he misses a set shot from 3 metres and turns into an instant dunderhead. Apply the same to the coach, the assistants, the strength and conditioning guys (who figure being strong enough to endure two quarters a game is good enough), the selection panel and the recruiting staff and you end up with so many free-floating boneheads that the footy industry will become over saturated with them.
