Young blokes good - Blakely in particular. Liked Collins although not sure why the 6'4" first gamer was taking a kick in during the last quarter. Suban and De Boer ordinary. Don't start me on D Pearce - horrible disposal and his OOF in the last kicking 20m to Crozier killed us.

I wish we had Stephen Hill circa 2013/4 running around.

Look at the positives

We still have Fyfe the best player in the world, Sandilands the best ruckman in the world, Bennell the best winger in the world, Mundy the second best mid in the team, Johnson one of the best defenders in the world and Silvagni the blonk to come back into the team and good draft picks to come with them.

What other team has that much excitement to look forward to?

Although I agree on Pav I also agree with Roly that if he wasn't there Tabener would have had Fisher on him and possibly spare man in defence so for a time we should continue with Pav and he does deserve his 350 - only 6 more games.
Also thought Collins reminded me of Leigh Brown - not sure who mentioned that before
Noticed the bad ump decisions come when we have the momentum!
Freo chant came through loud and clear at times - pity they couldn't do it for you guys
BTW who was captain tonight and did they even show the 'message stick' or did I just miss that bit?

If Pav wasn't in Fisher could have had Apeness to worry about, and he can take a grab in a pack. Unfortunately Pav only took one mark and kicked one goal.

Roly has to defend the club legend, because that's the honourable thing to do. I don't think Pav would believe 1 mark and a goal is a good game?

We'll hear about it tomorrow, I guess. Pav was supposed to have been 'managed' this game - them he got a call from that Sunday Footy Show and he's on the plane, ready to go. I reckon one of the Steves wants to get Pav on the tele trying to sell that ludicrous $3000 seat reservation scheme they're running - kind of like a shell-game without the pea.

Pav did ok (I thought) - I always admire his effort when he uses his body at the contest (and he did plenty of that today).

Connor Blakely had a 25 disposal game with only 56% Time on Ground. 14 of those were contested possessions. That's a cracker of a game for such a youngster.

Pav is doing OK. 8 tackles shows his intent and commitment. He had 10 the other week. Very hard for him with the way the ball comes into the forward line. I reckon he could go around again next year, hopefully with much more support.
