The Steve's spent too much time worrying about colours, branding, song and guernsey design in initial years rather than a focus on succession planning with the list. Mark Harvey had set the scene for a period of success. I now feel for the current players who wear the brunt of poor long term list management. How do we miss so much local talent. The Freo talent scouts on the ground in WA must not be doing their "due diligence". So much WA talent gone everywhere but West.

I didnt hear the Steve speak but its glaringly obvious after being in a tiny crowd on sat night, that if you stick your head in the sand this problem will only get worse. Maybe we need to do a campaign like the weazles did last year, "The West is Ours", gotta say that they were crap but grew into the words that the club put out there.
Maybe we could have "Freo - Premiership or Death" or "I'd only be an Eagle if I hatched from an egg"
