I think the whole list management model myth needs to be debunked. Its not a science. Its reasoned thinking based on short and long term requirements.

You can't have one set philosophy, its taking the right decision at the right time; sometimes its correct to take best available sometimes its not.

Its like there is no flexibility in what we do..

The taking the best player idea has seen us draft virtually nothing but mids and the odd tall mid.

It's not actually a bad idea if you plan to trade them later for something you actually need, because you couldn't get it in the draft at the time. But they don't. They just keep picking more mids.

I rarely miss, but I didn't attend the game on Saturday because I was hosting a 20 year old's birthday party. There was beer-pong and some sort of dodgy punch. I had the telly on in the corner to monitor the game. Not long after the final siren the cake came out. The birthday girl slipped on some spilled pong beer and fell onto the cake, which flipped over and landed on her head as she sprawled on the floor. Everyone nearby was completely pissed and stumbling around covered in pink icing. Much later, "Do You Believe in Love?" by Cher came on, all cheese and Autotune. All of these events seem interconnected in some deep-seated way. Such is 2016.

I can see that there's room for at least four tarps along near the Eagles race. Can David Koch give us the old Port Adelaide ones so we can re-paint them with person-like figures?
I hope the seat colours at Burswood will be in various hues similar to the brilliant system at the Gabba - empty seats can look like a huge crowd there.
