What options has he got? With AP gone now as well as the rest of our best players, how many truly top class players have we got left?
AP's injury is a blow. How bad can this year get? Up until this week I was able to keep my eye on the positives, blooding our youngsters. But watching another mediocre performance at home, I have to admit it's now getting humiliating. So many players out there I cringe watching, but what have we got in the way of replacements?
Essendon at home in two weeks. If we can't win that one, our humiliation will be complete.

Blakely's best game, but it's a sad old day when Tabener looks more likely than Pav. Good for Tabs but it's sad to see Pav like this. He shouldn't have been expected to go around again and deserves better.

Sure, it's not our worst side ever.
And sure, we have very unfortunate injuries. But it doesn't change the fact that the players who are left are performing like a wooden spoon side. And that's the issue - every side suffers injuries each season; if we collapse when we lose our top tier, then our problem is the depth and range of our list. And that problem won't go away when We have our stars back.
I'm not convinced that adding McCarthy & Hogan is going to magically solve all our problems.

been a member since inception...21+ years with my entire family and now extended family...we have collectively put in over 100,000 in member fees via the 16 of us over that time...watched their first ever game and for the first ever time i left tonights game with a feeling of despair....our player group is fractured by injuries, age and in a number of cases, players who are not up to afl standards....it is obvious there is no spirit in the current team and a wholesale change of personnel need to be changed both in the playing and admin area...i will now turn out to watch and enjoy my two little grandkids playing auskick tomorrow morning, who play with the spirit, endeavour and skills level that i wish the dockers
players could attain to
