Bizkit, err...no. Not going to happen.
GWS would have to be mind-numbingly stupid to entertain any trade which sees them lose Lobb (23yo, injury free, star in the making) and gain Clarke (26yo, bad knee, playing at Peel).
Draft picks they don't need. Remember they have Carlton and Collingwood's 2016 first round picks as well as their own (due to trades made in 2015).
Trading Clarke to anyone is going to be difficult. He is an unrestricted free agent and can go wherever he chooses. Compensation draft pick you say?
How much is Clarke worth?
The AFL has tightened the criteria re compensation draft picks.
They now base these picks on a mathematical formula involving the salaries of all players aged 25 and above (roughly 270 players).
A player's new contract has to be within the top 5% of all such salaries to attract a first round compo pick (approx. $700k+ pa).
5%-15% (approx. $500k-$700k pa) = end of first round compo pick.
15%-30% (approx. $400k-$500k pa) = second round compo pick.
30%-50% (approx. $300k-$400k pa) = end of second round pick.
NB: These salary figures are only a (conservative) estimate and likely to be higher in 2016.

Clarke may well walk away (hobble?) at season's end. Any compo pick may not be forthcoming.
