TOPIC: Teams: Fremantle v Giants

We handled Walker, Lynch and Jenkins alright last week without Ibbo, and with the weather predicted to be quite wet, hopefully it will help diminish the impact that GWS' talls will make..

I am somewhat concerned pitting Griff against Mummy for the whole match...when he started to fatigue in the fourth quarter against North, they really started to get on top of us..hopefully history doesn't repeat itself..

It would be a good game to give SCOS a run to reinforce the opinon that he can't cut it (in sarcastica font).

Lynch is more of a Mayne type mid sized forward so it's a little easier to match him up opposed to the numbers PK provided.
Nathan: When did you get balls?
Simon: I've always had balls you've just never seen them.
Nathan: That's the gayest thing I've ever heard.

I wouldn't mind seeing a policy adopted for this year that when they bring in a youngster, they play him for four games in a row, minimum. And if they drop a youngster, then the replacement will be a youngster too.
;p

I hope McCarthy goes to the game with a Dockers beanie on.

GWS don't go in that tall in their back line either. Maybe its a trend. (As spin off to the other debate about talls - with all their draft picks GWS structure up with 4KPP's and 2 ruckmen - and the Full back being a bit of a convert from a midfielder)

Apparently this is the first time in the Giants history that they've played the same 22 players from the previous week. NO CHANGES. Its good to see they're not planning anything special for Fremantle that they haven't planned for Hawthorn.

Quirk of the draw so far this season is that we'll played WCE, Adel and GWS the week after they've played Hawthorn - so I'm predicting we'll beat Hawthorn in Round 8.

Disappointed Gray & Tucker gone. Still, maybe that's the plan - a couple of weeks with the big boys, then back to the WAFL to work on things you need to improve.

I hope there's a plan to it.

Roly sure has a different approach to blooding the kids to Harvey. Give them a few games versus swim or sink. I guess both have merit. Those that are thriving I would keep them in.

ROSS Lyon says he threw first-year player Darcy Tucker "to the wolves" in his debut game against Carlton and wants him to regain some touch in the WAFL this week.

Like Davo, I await to see if Cam Mac is anywhere to be seen on the weekend?
If GWS are keen on him and the feeling is mutual he will be in the rooms before and after the game and in the box.
If he loves Freo, he will be in block 418 with a funny beanie on trying not to be picked up by the cameras.
If he is at home, at a pub or down at Margs on a surfing trip, maybe he really is struggling and lost to the AFL forever??
