A huge Thanks to 211 for signing on again so early. I believe he could have easily got in excess of a $1m / year elsewhere.
I often think of just how much he is still underrated. People have been quick to be critical of him in the past because they think just how much better he could be if he took more marks, but we forget just how dominating he is as a ruckman.
I still believe that most coaches would pick 211 as their preferred ruckman of the competition. I can understand why the likes of Goldstein are picked in the All Australian in front of 211, but as far as rucking goes, the stats show 211 as the overwhelming outright champ of the comp.
BTW: Since Round 1 2015, Freo lost just 6 of the 24 games 211 has played. They have lost all 5 games he has not played. (NB: I have ignored his half a game vs the Slime when he got kneed).
Actually, going back a little further, we've lost 8 of his last 9 games missed.
