Team Docker your knowledge of and reference to the NFL coaching style is completely well just wrong. The head coach of an NFL team has an army of specialist coaches and their assistants that make our coaching teams look miniscule. The head coach of an NFL team is very much a tactician who relies on his O line, D line, Special teams, Goal punting coaches etc to provide him with personnel for different plays and on field scenarios. You are talking about something like 50 guys playing for teams within a team, the only thing the head coach wants to know about the kicker apart from his name is that he can kick goals. If he cant then the next kicker on the roster gets called up. If he fails the kicking coach gets a please explain and if there is no improvement he gets booted out by the senior coach. The senior coach does not bother with what he considers details to be dealt with by skills specialists.
Oh yeah Ross the Boss is a good coach his record speaks for itself, Buckley at Collingwood inherited a premiership team and has managed to turn them into cellar dwellers. Your theory of inheriting good teams and living off their past glory is bollocks.

This post will probabnly be just as controversial as when I last posted. Back then I was excommunicated for speaking up against the Supreme Leader.

JLo has transformed the Dockers - its finally enjoyable to watch them play again.
I cant wait for 2021. I definitely think we will push deep into finals next year.

Our efficiency and decision making have imporved beyond sight...... Its crazy what happens when you focus on skills.

Things to change for 2022:

- Get Pearce back on the park
- Controversial - go after Ben Brown and/ or Cognilio (salary cap permitting)
- Retain high draft picks
- Change Lobb's kicking technique
- Trade Connor, Hill (It hurts me to say it) and Darcy (Controversial).

Wonder if Raglan, Yeti, Davo, Jezza, The Drubbing, The Spud and Bpurle ever changed their view on RoLy ;P

I didn't express a view on Lyon in this thread. But my opinion was well known for years and hasn't changed. I had misgivings about him from day 1 and never trusted the bloke. He got many on board for a while, including me, by getting to a GF, but it was wheel spinning and just plain spin from then on.
