I know the concept of Fyfe being a permanent forward as been debated ad nauseum in this forum, but with this season now officially a developmental year, could the timing of his injury allow for this to be a realty? I mean, without Sandi and Fyfe on the weekend, and with Mundy playing predominantly at halfback for the game, we still managed to win the clearances 35-30, which is pretty encouraging IMO. And if Lyon continues to give time to the likes of Weller, Blakeley and Walters (who was bloody excellent in the coalface) to be in the middle along with Neale, Barlow etc and let them develop/learn over the course of this upcoming season, it could release Fyfe up forward and come in the middle as necessary, much like Pav in the later half of his career. Couple that with the potential top 5 pick (which hopefully lands us that elusive KPP, even if this year's crop apparently isn't overly laden with them), suddenly 2017 is looking a little bit less gloomy...
