Again Morgan, you go to great lengths to take a contrary view and again its nonsensical,

Dawson is limited and has generally poor decision making. Those poor decisions did cost us goals today and making trite comments can't hide that fact.

Maybe if we had effective KPDs we wouldn't need to have such a limited crab in the side but then we'd have needed to draft some better skilled talls well before this.

We've all landed on the fact Pearce is a stand out player as we have that Dawson is not a stand out player.

But if you think the result today would have been any different if Dawson was not out there you are just avoiding the fact we are playing some ordinary football at the moment.

Blaming anyone in the backline today is misguided.

We didn't convert and our rucks lost out to one bloke. And Bond was there too. The obnoxious little garden Nome.

Dawson wasn't the reason we lost today.

Its a team game, he had help.

Jokes aside, just because he's not the sole reason for our losses, that doesn't change the fact that he's limited and for every good thing he does, he does some dopey things. Handballing to a guy under pressure is a signature play of his. Mind you, he's not the only one doing that.

It's hard to be a skinny kid playing for Freo at the moment, its hard to be a key forward and its really hard playing on the last line.

I'd like to think that Silvagni is better than Dawson, but Roly won't give him a game, even if Dawson, Spurr and Sutcliffe were injured - so I never actually get a chance to see how he goes.
