It's going to be very hard to make the finals after the start to the season and the current form, which is a real shame because the football season hasn't even got going yet and ours is over. It doesn't have to be.

As a proud Western Australian, I'm aware that there is a second team in the state and I would like to propose that we all turn our attention towards them and their heroic attempt to win their 4th premiership.

Sure, we've had our differences in the past, there has even been some mild animosity towards our brothers up the road but we all know the challenges that face a team from this side of the country and we should be able to put the troubles behind us and unite in solidarity as the people of Western Australia.

So let's go Masteny and Priddisy...

nah, can't do it.

Let's burn the place to the ground and we'll all go live in Tanzania.

I reckon we should get on the Peel bandwagon. By the end of the year, if the various voices of Dockerland have their way, they'll have Ibbo, Suban, De Boer, Dawson, Clancee, Silvagni, Mayne, Barlow, Mzungu, Ballas, D Pearce, Sutcliffe, Sheridan, uncle Tom Cobley and all. They'll be missing Collins, Smith, Langdon, Grey, Yarran, etc, but they'll be hard to beat.

Plan B in the footy season for me has always been the WAFL - this year it appears that it should be Plan A. But following Peel is a big stretch, it just runs against my love for the Black Ducks. Despite this, I know I should be following Peel more closely, I really should be aware of how the development is going with some players. But - yeegads, if the purpose for performing well at Peel is a call-up to Freo, all I can see happening is a game full of squibbing. Most intelligent players wouldn't think a match fee would be worth the coast-to-coast humiliation of it all.
