Why must we continue to put up with his complete apathy and lack of effort?

Taberner made some mistakes in the backline but who didn't? Stats wise he was our best big forward. Why he doesn't look very good is because he has no in form quality around him.....he's our main man and shouldn't be, don't blame him.

Bring in Collins and Scos next week, drop Mayne and move A Pearce forward.

Pearce has always looked much more suited to the backline than up forward.

I fail see the positives in Sutcliffe and Sheridan. Grey showed more oomph in his second game than I've ever seen from Sheridan.
How about bringing Hughes in on the half back line.

You don't go from minor premiers to stone motherless because of your bottom tier, it's because not enough of the top talent are leading the way.

Out of that top talent ROTV i don't think you could criticise Fyfe, Pav, Hill & Walters for their lack of effort this year.
Just wondering who else you would include in this bracket besides the three that are injured.

So far 2016 has seen two of our All Australians injured, the reigning Brownlow Medallist injured and our other All Australian totally out of form, in no small part due to playing an entirely new role due to our former All Australian fullback retiring, and Johnson coming back from injury.
The middle tier are average when out of form, able to cut it when all the above are seriously hitting a purple patch.

Agarn leading the way, doesn't necessarily mean lack of exertion, more in terms of skills and decision making. Fyfe, Hill and even Walters have all been guilty of some excruciating turnovers at various times this year. Fyfe and Walters really worked their way into it and we don't have enough Son-Son's as far as I'm concerned. But really you need your most capable players leading the way when there is such poor decision making and execution errors dragging you down time and time again.

ROGV, the effort is there, the confidence is not. Commented on throughout the game. They were all scared to make a mistake. Credit to Tabs, after the touched through disaster, he kicked the compensatory goal. I have mixed feelings about him. Like him to do well, but fear he won't.

I don't like to participate in these 'drop this guy' threads but...... Barlow is killing me at the minute. Without Mundy carrying him, his movement, lack of speed and decisions are too painful. Involved in a lot of turnovers today. Just a second off the pace but it's too much to carry without Mundys class.

Actually the 'drop this guy' thread is actually cathartic.

Drop em all!

Grey and Weller deserve another run, Doctor, with Hilly and Son Son. Build the rest of the season around them. The rest of the walk-ups are now injured.

I love Hill, but he has sucked this year.

Probs because of the structures.

Structures? What structures? Nothing evident today. All our structures are based on Sandi. No Sandi, no structure.

Barlow had 32 touches at 75% with 14 tackles, reckon on yesterday's game there might be better targets than Mick.
