If, as some suggest, ZeD has been one of our best players and in out top six then we truely are a crap team. He sounds like a top bloke but I can't think of another team where he would get a game.
The game no longer values a back man who can't kick and manages half a dozen possessions per game. The game is set up from the back line. Rebound footy is king.
We are one player down while ZeD is on the park.

You can only drop and reinstate so many players during a season. It's the new assistant coaches I would be looking at. And the broader question is how, as a multi-million dollar professional football club, a person was allowed to hire three assistant coaches with absolutely no experience whatsoever.
Questions should be being asked at boardroom level.

Both Fyfe and Hill were responsible for some pretty ordinary turnovers yesterday.
I for one am completely over the long hacking kick forward slammed on the boot with absolutely no regard for the consequence of where this ball will land. This has been common for a long time coming out of the centre, but now seems to be the go to, everywhere. I tell my kids in grade 7 & 4 "just have a look".
As for dropping things, commented during the game about inability to hold any marks, this has got to the point where we are unable to catch a handball. These guys will not be packing my dishwasher.

Barlow is back where he should have been all last year - in and under. Remember Fyfe going down in the prelim and Roly stubbornly refused to take him off a flank where he was doing sweet FA while his confidence eroded? His hands still aren't what they used to be where he would grab it and cleanly distribute to a running player, but that's purely down to confidence. So with the injuries not giving Roly the luxury of making an insanely stupid tactical error, Barlow should be amongst our best for the rest of the season.
