At the end of 2011 we had a bloody talented list that had made it to a Semi final the year before while being coached by someone who apparently no one could understand so it must have been the players just trusting their instincts, if you spend 4 years trading and rewarding them to ignor those instincts and play to your system, then you better have a bloody good system, right one we have players who refuse to trust their instincts but a system that doesn't work.
