And the mark to the Crow on the wing with about 4 minutes to go, well, it was a mark. And when you take possession 10m out from goal and just stand and wait for the tackles, and when they come you just drop the ball any old how, well, with 1 second to go, that should have been a free kick.

good to see we're not the only team to get done by the umps playing against the Hawks, that's 3 of the last 3 games they have got them over line.

on another note, I hope we bring the congested game next week against the crows, if we go open they'll eat us on our turnovers.

Montrachet, yes, I wouldn't mind if Walters got that free. I'd be bloody surprised if it happened at the MCG against Hawthorn though, with 20 seconds left on the clock and us 3 points down.

And I'd be even more surprised when the umps reversed the free because Ballas breathed too loudly.

The difference between our small forwards and other sides is ours have to race more than one bloke to the ball, are generally receiving a rushed kick at best, aren't typically fast small forwards and the biggest problem which is that our defenders/midfielders don't move the ball with speed and precision instead preferring to kick sideways rather than take on the game (as instructed by RL).

Disgusting that the umpires kept the Hawks in the game for so long and then got them over the line.

Not really Hypen. I know soccer takes it to the extreme but I think goals are more exciting when they're harder to come by. I miss the tough grind that our games used to be, the winning position it put us in, and the fact that if a team did snatch a win against us they often lost the following week anyway which was good for ladder position.

This stuff all the clubs are playing now is just a roll of the dice.

I know what we're doing and why. I don't blame our coaches or players, I blame the AWfl who keep f$$&&@g up our game.
