Ibbo's been terrible this season. Was nowhere against the Bullies, got completely towelled up against the Suns, was awful for most of the Derby, and not great against North.

He's a much better player than some guys still in the team, but not on current form.

I'm not arguing Ibbo has been good but he hasn't been our worst. He hasn't even been our worst small defender, there's two others (Sutcliffe and Sheridan) below him so far this season who have less ability and less runs on the board.

I think structurally we're playing too many poorly skilled small defenders atm so agree with dropping one but Ibbo is not the correct option, especially when Grey is the replacement, another small defender with poor skills.

Tucker would be the one to slot across half back I would imagine to give us some run and carry.

I'm suprised that they've dropped Ibbotson because he's been a good defender and you could find him another role, maybe as winger who could attack and defend. Looks like he is the player that has been left out of the Peel game and held over as an emergency for tomorrow, so maybe there's a late change.

Carlton have got very little up forward that poses a problem for any defender in a one on one though. They'd have to really kill us in the midfield to get close on the scoreboard.
