The problem with moving to Cockburn is that they haven't wanted to spend any money at Fremantle Oval. It is well overdue for resurfacing, it's far too soft. They're so focussed on providing the best in the future that they stopped maintaining what they're using.
It's bordering on negligence that we have had so many injuries which can essentially be attributed to the equipment the players are being provided with.
Is there anything more important than a decent surface to train on? Apparently the place will have wifi lockers which let the coach send a player a message straight to his locker...presumably because they're the only men under 35 who don't carry a phone.
