I'm going to grit my teeth and sit and watch the Slime vs Ninthmond.

I expect I'll be in envy of the Slime spectators, witnessing fluent ball movement, plenty of easy goals from quick match altering decision making ... and I'll wonder ... why can't we get umpiring like that?

Love all the comments about the free kicks going to the slime. Last year they were given 75 more than they gave away.
No wonder they rose to a GF appearance. We on the other hand received 45 less and still finished on top of ladder.
How many people do we have to pay off just to get a level playing field?

So in Q3, Richmond get 6 Frees for and 3 Against and they were able to match the Slime in that quarter.
... the effect that the umpiring has on a game is very underrated.
