Port Adelaide are spruiking a game in China but it won't be their home game. I can't see too many teams wanting to give up a home game unless it's for huge dollars. Really can't see this as more than a Sheedy style publicity stunt. Do we have a contract to play 11 games at Subi? Let's hope so just in case.

I have just watchted Koshie on AFL 360 and it was suggested to him, in regard to the second team, that Gold Coast would be a good fit with tourism and Sydney would be good fit with property development. Koshie reply immediately suggested that WA was a good fit also due to mining interests. His first reponse was to say WA.

A bit later he was asked if he had spoken to any other club to lay the ground work, he replied that he has indeed contacted one fellow president of another club to be the other team, they have agreed and it just needs to be ticked off by the AFL Commission.

It is a WA Team. And that means us and I dont think its a bad thing necessarily.

If we get Chinese umpires we might get a fair go, so I see your point. Chinese commentators could well be easier to understand and put up with as well, even a chance they will get some of our players names right (even if it is totally accidental).
