With Shultz now on the long term injury list I been thinking about the near misses we've had with big name trades in the past few years who then go on to do not much after they sign big contracts with someone else. Cloke and M Clark to name a few. Im thinking that if we spread the word of this curse then Hogan will be too nervous to not accept a deal.

Well according to all sources (the streets the place to go) Josh Bruce has turned down bug bucks from Freo and the Pies to re-sign with the Saints.

I reckon our only hope of avoiding a nasty 5 year plus rebuild of the list depends on getting Hogan. Even then our list looks very thin once a few guys retire or get too old (basically now). I am confident Sandi can play till he's 35 but not the others. Mccarthy will end up here but he is still a bit of an unknown quantity as he hasn't played much footy.

Even if he wants to come here I have no idea how we will get Hogan.
