On Sunday's Footy show, Priddis was crossed to and interviewed and one of the first questions was from Billy Brownless who asks "Good to see Sandilands go down?" (or something similar) ... Really? The pleasure they take in seeing Freo hurting can be quite sickening at times.

It is the continual boot in the guts by idiots like Brownless, Dermie and co that confirms to the AwFL that the rest of the footy world likes it when Freo gets shafted. Nothing will change while populist media are laughing at the injustices suffered by Fyfe, Walters, (he is still not getting any free kicks for high tackles, but the old "he ducked into it" justification has disappeared from D/L ) Sandi, Pav, Hilly etc. The only articles calling out the AwFL are obviously using words of more than 3 syllables which are unable to be understood by mainstream footy journalists and commentators, and therefore not even referred to.

That was one of the extra long wheelbase paramedic trucks - it has extra air-shocks on the back end to cope with big loads. Still, Sandi had to sit up for the journey - apparently there's a law about loads that extend beyond the back bumper and only Sandiman panel vans are allowed to use the roads with their back doors open.

Given all of that, I think it was a top job getting 211 into the hospital without significant road closures or traffic disruption.

If Naitanui had put a hand or elbow into Sandilands back, that would have been a free kick against.

Instead he went flying in knee first into his back - guaranteed to inflict injury if there's contact and sure enough, punctured lung, broken ribs, straight off in an ambulance.

Yet - not even a free kick, let alone a report.

What are the rules with contact from knees? I know they want to preserve the big marks and so you can get in someone's back if you take a hanger - but how can sailing into a marking contest knee-first be ok?

When your kicking is countinuosly deplorable injuries occur with greater regularity.

If I recall correct we missed a set shot inside 30m, the ball went up real quick and the big man was out of position.

When you ask your team mates to stand under the ball, change direction when running full tilt or pass to them under pressure they get hurt. And consistently kicking pts inside 50 just kills you.

This used to happen all the time in the dark days.

So if the situation was reversed and Sandilands inflicted the same injury on Naitanui would any Freo supporter be questioning the current rules?

Naitanui had eyes for the ball and did nothing wrong.

Leave the rules alone this kind of incident is very rare.

Having said that I'm sure the AFL and the media would be scrutinising this incident much more closely has Naitanui suffered a punctured lung.

Yeti, I couldn't believe it when I saw him do it a second time. It just shows to me that he wasn't sorry that Sandi had been badly hurt and he didn't care if it happened again.

The second one against A Pearce was in a ruck contest and should have been a free against NN, the only reason we saw the reply was because they were trying to show how NN received a finger to the eye, which occurred as Alex's arm swung down due to the impact of a knee to the chest. Channel eagle were trying to stich up Pearce but instead highlighted NN's poor excuse for a ruck technique. Still no comment from the clowns calling the broadcst other than there was nothing untoward about the finger and I was incidental
