They really, really, really want us to fail, don't they.

We've had 4 seasons playing a certain way. It was succesful, but not quite succesful enough. We are now changing the way we play. After 4 years doing it one way, changing to another way is not just going to happen over the course of one pre-season and 2 games.

I read that article yesterday and found it a bit of obtuseness masquerading as clever. I reckon he had his conclusion and then wrote the article, having to acknowledge and then minimise the differences between the Saints situation in 2011, with injuries and wotnot, and the Dockers of 2016 (or even the similarities that could explain a short blip but rectify themselves fairly quickly, ie. changes in coaching staff).

I dont buy it. The only thing that has stopped us from probably two premiership are Hawthorn who could be considered the best team of the last decade plus have all the perks of being a vic team and only just stopped us. Tinker away roley.

We've lost 7 of our last 9 games. I don't think Hawthorn are standing in our way or were last year.
Poor recruiting is doing a lot job of getting in our way than Hawthorn.
