Chris Scott just on AFL 360, stating his case for that they are umpired poorly. Stating that statistics are unquestionable, could not believe that his side had only 10 free kicks for a whole game. Imagine if he had access to some of our statistics.
I ask again why have we never done the same thing as a club to bring the debate into the public arena to address the discrepancy.
Having said that, at this point in time the horse has well and truly bolted, and we have many more pressing issues.

Your question presupposes that complaining about it would change umpire behaviour, and isn't detrimental to the team. I'm not a coach, but I imagine I'd rather the players focus on what they can control, rather than having them run out on the park feeling like victims.

Yes Morgan, but I and a lot of others here are over the way we take everything without question in regards to umpiring, tribunal, venues, etc.
Plenty of other clubs and coaches speak out every now and then. It's not something you'd want to do all the time but it would be welcome occasionally.
Maybe the players might see it as their coach and club backing them which would be positive and not the defeatist attitude you're suggesting?

have we been cheated out of two goals in the last two weeks ?- one a (back of the padding) poster - apparently - after the goal U said he thought it was a goal but wanted to check to see if it had been touched - and last Saturday when the ball may have passed the line before touched. haven't seen the replay but at the ground it looked dodgy

I'm usually the first one in to have a whinge about the umpires and the effect that they have had on a Fremantle loss.
Was there some bad umpiring that cost us some goals, quite possibly, but I haven't even bothered reviewing the umpiring, because, blind Freddie can see that's not our biggest problem right now.

Against Gold Coast, Freo won most of the stats, only to see their forwards convert goals from inside 50s at a rate of about every 2.7 entries, while Freo's was 4.3. That just wreaks with something going wrong at both ends of the ground. The coaching and/or the players ability to carry out those instructions was obviously the deciding factor in this game ... and that's something Roly should be able to fix and I have confidence that he will.

I'm happy to ignore the Bulldogs loss in Round1. Even when I thought Freo were going to start that game with 211, MJ and Bennell, and their proven old defensive game plan, I still thought it was going to be about the fourth hardest game of the home and away season for us.

Freo are currently paying about $2.30 to make the final eight. I got myself some of that. (NB: Bet responsibly).
Gone to bigfooty where there's fewer Docker Haters.

Docker by the sea - you heard it wrong. He never once blamed the umpires. he blamed his players.
He didnt bring it up, it was an extension of another conversation talking about Collingwood being +17 in free kicks this year when they are normally ranked 18....Gerard being so pro Geel brought it up and Scott did seem umcomfortable talking about it.
The club checked it all out, there is no pattern, he wasnt whinging (for once) and put the ball firmly in the players court.
