The biggest issues were facing is the wrong personel on the field! Players to be dropped this week include: Tommy Sheridan, Clancy Pearce, chris Mayne.

Players to be considered include: Sam Collins, Matt De Boer, Ethan Hughes, Brady Grey and Darcy Tucker.

Even Nick Suban and Cam Sutcliffe are on the cusp, but no more than 3 or 4 changes should occur.

Over the last few years, Kennedy hasn't really kicked a bag against Freo. He has got 1 or 2 goals on each occasion and on several occasions we were missing McPharlin (plus other key defenders). Typically against Freo, Kennedy has been most damaging coming up the field and winning contested footy and generating inside50's.
That is, I really don't see missing McPharlin having any impact on Kennedy's performance ... as in most cases, it will have more to do with how the midfield is won and lost.

EDIT: An after thought ... unless Roly decides to start Sutcliffe on him ... then yes we will miss McPharlin. (Sorry Roly, but that Round1 starting him on Stringer will not be easily forgotten).
Gone to bigfooty where there's fewer Docker Haters.

Biz is right - none of our halfbacks picked up 30+ disposals. Hill almost did - he had 6 disposals until half-time, but ended the game on 29 (after moving forward into the centre square late in the 3rd). We don't have a sweeper down back anymore - either Ibbo, or better still, Johnno. Why not?

We got hammered in our last Western Derby (well, there's nothing 'western' about it - we have the only derby in fact) - I would hope that RoLy woke up to the fact that these games are the big ones to the only guys aligned to the club with wallets (i.e.: you and me) - some losses we'll tolerate, the Derby isn't even close to one of those. If he (or Steve) wants me to flip open my wallet every year, he's got to deliver the goods. This coming weekend would be a start - a good start.

I'm with Polly in this, a win is the only way to shut the arrogant #%^*+*^% 's up. Although I think while outwardly downplaying the game, everyone at our club would be hellbent on winning.

The only time Freo win anything is by being 5 goals up at quarter time. They can't make up a deficit of more than 2-3 goals which why both games were over at half time.

A year ago we were on top of the world with a 9 goal first quarter. Time to get the mojo back.

I think you guys are going to be in for a treat this weekend.
If we play like we did in the last two weeks we will be smashed. However I have great belief that the worm has turned. The new game plan that they are developing will bear fruit this weekend.
Have faith my little ones and enjoy next week with your slime mates.

I find it hard to take these Derbies seriously anymore after the coaches stopped wearing those red baseball caps.

It feels like more than just a derby win is on the line this weekend. If we come away with the chocolates the egirls will loose more confidence and their supporters will start to turn on them which will derail their entire year. Here's hoping we change our centre bounce structure.

Got a ticket in the end - block 109 down near the boundary line. Anybody know the number to text for security? I may be needing it if the game goes well.
