Whatever the Dockers are doing its not working.

Top of the ladder in 2015, bottom of the ladder in 2016. 2 losses - losing to the Suns at home.

Can't kick goals, can't tackle, can't kick, smash the opponents in 50m entrances but no goals.

Where to from here? Would Jesse Hogan want to come over to play with this rabble!

Really too early to say....... But it might be a good idea for the coaching staff to commence thinking about blooding some of their younger more talented players with the view to improving the pace and confidence of the entire side for 2016. Some of our older players are showing signs of either lack of confidence or lack of pace/skill. Easier said than done but we have to start some where. The time is now!

Unlike last week, tonight we won the contested ball and clearances, won the inside 50s and in most other statistics we at least broke even. The glaring deficiencies to everyone watching the game were speed across the ground and disposal efficiency (56% kicking efficiency, terrible). So we start with the players who constantly let us down in that area. I'd give D Pearce and Barlow a rest for starters. Blakely in and Griffin gets another go as back up ruck.
What's also clear is our back line is seriously exposed with AA Luke gone and Ibbotson horribly out of form. I feel like Sheridan has been a liability down there since day one and (hate to say it, cause I love the guy) Sutcliffe is struggling. Collins in for Dawson (can't do any worse than Zed did on Lynch today) and Ethan Hughes and Brady Grey to replace Sheridan / Sutcliffe.
I know Ross can't magically make the players kick straight or handle the ball cleanly, but he's had average start to the season (still shaking my head over the decision to put Sutcliffe on Stringer last week).

Ross will play the same old crew like Dawson and continue to leave Silvagni out.
Bond and crew should be shown the door - for years of poor drafting leaving the cupboard bare for forwards and pace.

A Pearce is recruited as a backman to take over from AA Luke, he comes into the side as a backman last year and shows some real promise, so what do we do? Throw him into the forward line with virtually no games behind him at Peel in this area and expect him to succeed. Maybe he will, but it's all desperation stakes as we didn't recruit any key forwards again.
