SCOS is good enough. I will say one thing, I don't actually mind Sutcliffe , if for nothing else just for being Fyfey's roomie.... but one thing Sutty is not and that is a full back. Stringer must have been salivating in his shorts with that match up before Ibbo took over.

The game against the dogs had nothing to do with our talls. We got smashed in contested pos's, -43 in fact, like Ross said it was embarrassing. It would not have made any difference what talls we had in the backline or forward line.

I was there and thought Zac D fought every contest strongly and was certainly one of our better players, if not the best How many times have we said that in the past. That being said, I thought it was a very poor decision to leave Silvagni out. When he plays for us he certainly gives his all. A. Pearce will come back in next week and Sivangi will be left out in the cold again.

Silvagni would have been good on Stringer. I remember when he was given the job on Buddy a few years ago. Buddy had a pretty frustrated day.

What bugs me is that Clancee, after an absolutely woeful performance against Geelong, was given a guernsey ahead of SCOS. I like Clancee, but it wasn't form that was being rewarded when he got selected.

I like Silvangi, but if Stringer was too quick on the lead for Ibbotson and Sutcliffe, he would have been to quick for Silvagni too. Apart from height, the Stringer/Pavlich comparison is ludicrous.

It wasn't all about the speed of stringer on the day, at least two goals came from just out marking his opponent in a stationary contest, Sutcliff is just not strong enough in the one on ones, it's not his fault either, he shouldn't be getting those match ups in the first place.

the game is won and lost in the midfield. if your midfield pressure's their midfield entries and forces them wide then their key forwards will have a tough time.

But with no pressure allowing their midfielders to pinpoint pass and it will make even the best defenders look ordinary.
