It seemed like one of those perfect storms where every player's heads weren't switched on for one reason or another. The Bulldogs on the other hand were switched on. I had another look at the replay (not recommended BTW) and for every player, there was at least one glaring brain-fade that ended up costing us in some way. The one that sticks in my mind was Ballas - marks the ball and thinks he can drift off his line either intentionally or not, then ends up being called play on - he managed to kick it to Walters, but what if Son Son didn't lead to the space. It would have ended in disaster. Take the mark, measure out your run up and kick the goal. It just seemed like the fatigue got to him and he didn't know what he was doing.
