I thought there was a regular poster who used to do the 'top 4, bottom half of the 8, also rans' etc each season, but 24 hours from the season starting I've seen nothing. So here goes on a 2016 ladder prediction:
1. Geelong 2. Slime 3. Hawthorn 4. Port 5. Freo 6. Bulldogs 7. GWS 8. Sydney 9. Richmond 10. Adelaide 11. North Melbourne 12. Gold Coast 13. Collingwood 14. Melbourne 15. St Kilda 16. Brisbane 17. Carlton 18. Essendon

Freo to win the flag from 5th (courtesy of a 'home' prelim final victory against West Coast)

Yeah, I like doing this every year when Merc asks us to. Merc has not been on the ball this year, I think he is getting old.

This is my final ladder predictions:

Top Four: Freo, Port, Hawks, GWS
Bottom Four: Geelong, Richmond, Collingwood, Gold Coast
Next Four: North Melbourne, Sydney, Bulldogs, Adelaide
Bottom Six: Saints, Melbourne, Brisbane, Carlton, Essendon, West Coast

Freo to beat Port in the GF - see you there.

Almosts: Tigers, Kangas, Pies, crows,

I'm going to look at how many games Freo could lose. So with that in mind, we play Eagles, Adelaide, Dogs, GWS and Suns twice. I see us winning 8 games there. I also see us losing to Hawks and North Melbourne away. That's 4 loses in the season. Which means a top 2 finish. Let's hope we win it this time.
