Players like Mzungu, Silvagni, De Boer, Barlow, Tabener are rookie listed players who are not highly skilled. So when there's a need to replaced them with better skilled younger players, make it happen. In Bennel's case, he's in your best 22 everyday of the week, even if he's not 100% fit. As for Weller, Langdon and Blakely, surely they've gone past Mzungu, De Boer, C. Pearce in 2016, so they're in.

Well seeing as Big Sandi is not available round 1 his selection is a mute point.

My first round team is as follows:
B Spurr, Dawson, A Pearce
HB Sutcliffe, Johnson, Ibbotson
C Sheridan, Mundy, Hill
HF Mzungu, Pavlich, Bennell (Mayne if they don't risk him at Etihad, although I think he is a lock)

I/C D Pearce, Barlow, Z Clarke, Ballantyne

Dawson only lasts until they are ready to give Sam Collins a go, liked his game on the weekend with 14? marks from memory.

Jezza, who cares how anyone got onto the list, surely it's whether they're up to the job or not. There have been some awesome rookie list players. Brett Kirk was a rookie listed player, Barlow was awesome when we didn't have any real presence in the midfield before him to capitalise on Sandi's work.
